A short Indiranagar guide for our guests: where to walk, what to see and how to get here and home again.

Indiranagar is one of the easiest parts of Bengaluru to spend an evening in, and many of our guests come early or stay late in the neighbourhood. Here is what we tell people who ask.
Getting here is simplest by metro. Indiranagar station on the Purple Line is about ten minutes on foot from us, along 100 Feet Road. From the airport side, allow at least an hour by car on a weekday evening. We have valet parking from 7 pm, but the lanes around us fill up quickly on Friday and Saturday.
If you arrive early, walk the side streets between 100 Feet Road and 12th Main. The older houses of HAL 2nd Stage still have gardens with mango and jackfruit trees, and the residential lanes are quiet even when the main road is busy. Defence Colony park is a pleasant place to sit before dinner. 12th Main itself has bookshops, small clothing stores and cafés if you want to browse.
After dinner, the area stays lively until late, especially on weekends, though it quietens on weeknights by midnight. If you are taking a cab home, our host will call one to the door so you do not wait on the main road, and if you are going home by metro, check the time of the last train before you settle in for dessert.
