Who we are
Cooked over fire. Only fire.
We built the kitchen around a 4-metre brick hearth with three fires: a high flame for searing, a bed of coals for roasting and a slow smoker. The fire is lit at 2 pm every day, and everything on the menu passes over it.
A wood-fire grill on 100 Feet Road: Karnataka produce over tamarind and coffee wood, and a nine-course menu. One seating at 8 pm, 24 seats, ₹3,800 a person. Vegetarian menu on request. Book at least a week ahead.

What we stand for
Three things we will not change
Only fire
There is no gas line in our kitchen. Everything, even the dal, is cooked on wood or coals.
Close to home
Our vegetables, lamb and dairy come from farms within about 40 km of Bengaluru, and we name them on the menu.
Wood we can trace
We burn tamarind and coffee wood from pruning and fallen trees, bought from farms in Kolar and Chikmagalur.

Nine courses, all from the fire, Thursday to Sunday.
One seating at 8 pm, 24 seats, ₹3,800 a person. Vegetarian menu on request. Book at least a week ahead.

The corn alone was worth the trip. Then the lamb chops arrived and the table went quiet.
Did the tasting menu for our anniversary. Nine courses, nothing rushed, and the chef came out to explain the fire.
They made a full vegetarian tasting menu for my mother with two days’ notice. Every course was cooked over the fire.
New dishes with every season.
