Birthdays, office dinners and family gatherings: how group bookings work at a kitchen with one hearth.

Our dining room seats 64, and we love a big table. But a kitchen with one hearth and no gas cooks a little differently, so large groups need some planning. Here is how it works.
For groups of eight to fourteen, book at least a week ahead, on WhatsApp or by phone. We seat you at the long table near the hearth or on the terrace. For groups of fifteen or more, we ask for two weeks’ notice and a deposit of ₹1,000 a person, adjusted against the bill.
Groups of eight or more eat from a shared menu rather than ordering separately. The fire can only hold so many plates at once, and a shared menu means everyone’s food arrives together and hot. We offer three set menus: ₹1,800, ₹2,400 and ₹3,000 a person before taxes, each with vegetarian and non-vegetarian plates in proportions you choose. Tell us about allergies when you book.
You are welcome to bring a cake; we plate it for you with no charge. We do not allow decorations that involve open flame, confetti or balloons near the hearth, for obvious reasons. Speeches are fine; amplified music is not, because other tables are dining too. The tasting menu is not available for groups larger than six, since it is cooked course by course for a single seating of 24.
