Reviews from real buyers help new shoppers decide. Your store shows star ratings and written reviews on product pages, stars on product cards, and a "verified buyer" mark for people who bought the product. Stars can also appear in Google results.
Set up reviews
- Open Reviews and find Review settings.
- Tick Show reviews and star ratings on the store.
- Tick Publish reviews from verified buyers straight away if you want them live without checking. Other reviews wait for you either way.
- Tick Email customers to ask for a review and choose Ask this many days after delivery: 1, 3, 5, 7 or 14.
- Press Save.
Approve, hide or reply
- New reviews waiting for you appear in Reviews, with a count in the menu.
- For each review, press Publish to show it or Hide to keep it off your store.
- To answer, type in Your reply and press Save reply. Your reply shows under the review.
To handle many at once, tick them, choose Publish, Hide or Delete and press Apply to selected.
Good practice
- Reply to critical reviews politely and say what you did to fix the problem. Shoppers notice.
- Do not hide honest reviews just because they are not five stars; a mix looks more trustworthy.
- Ask at the right time. For clothing, a few days after delivery gives the buyer time to try it on.
