Connect Razorpay for UPI and card payments

Connect your own Razorpay account so shoppers can pay by UPI, cards, net banking and wallets, with the money going straight to your bank account.

Online payments on your store go through Razorpay, using your own Razorpay account. Shoppers can pay by UPI, cards, net banking and wallets, and the money is settled by Razorpay to your bank account.

Before you start

  • Create a Razorpay account and complete their business checks.
  • Razorpay looks for your policy pages and a contact page before switching on live payments. Every UpMinutes store already has them (shipping, returns, cancellations and refunds, payments, privacy, and terms), linked from the footer. Check your contact details are filled in under Store settings.

Add your keys

  1. In the Razorpay Dashboard, open Account & Settings, then API Keys, and generate a key.
  2. In your UpMinutes dashboard, open Payments (under Settings).
  3. Paste the Key ID (it starts with rzp_live_) and the Key secret.
  4. Press Connect Razorpay. The badge changes to Connected.

Set up the webhook (recommended)

The webhook confirms payments even if a shopper closes the page before returning to your store.

  1. On the Payments page, open How to set up the webhook and copy the webhook URL shown there.
  2. In Razorpay, open Account & Settings, then Webhooks, then Add new webhook, and paste the URL.
  3. Choose a secret, and type the same secret in Webhook secret on your Payments page.
  4. Tick the events payment.captured and order.paid and save in Razorpay. Then press Update keys on your Payments page.

Testing first

If you connect Razorpay test keys (starting rzp_test_), the badge shows Connected · test mode and your checkout shows Razorpay's test UPI IDs and cards to copy, so you can place a practice order. Replace them with live keys before you start selling.

Changing or removing keys

To change keys, paste the new ones and press Update keys; leave the secret boxes empty to keep the saved ones. Disconnect Razorpay turns off online payments.

Your keys are stored encrypted. Payments are only marked paid after Razorpay's signature is checked.
