Who we are
Feasts for 100 to 3,000 guests, cooked on wood fire.
Started by Sembagam Ammal in 1984 with ten vessels and a borrowed cart. Today her son and grandson run a team of 60 cooks and 140 servers from a kitchen on the Melur Road, with separate veg and non-veg sections.
Banana leaf weddings, kari virundhu and reception buffets across south Tamil Nadu, with our own cooks, servers, vessels and water. We work with your decorator on the buffet layout, so the food fits the hall and the queue never reaches the door.

What we stand for
Three things we will not change
Cooked at your venue
Everything except sweets is cooked fresh at the hall, on wood fire or gas, starting a few hours before service.
Two kitchens
Vegetarian and non-vegetarian food are cooked by different teams in separate vessels, always.
Every guest served
We count leaves, not guests. If more people come, we cook more and charge only for leaves served.

Receptions planned to the last chafer and flower.
We work with your decorator on the buffet layout, so the food fits the hall and the queue never reaches the door.
