A month-by-month guide to the juices on our board.

Our menu follows the fruit at the Rythu Bazaar, so it changes through the year.
From November to February, oranges and sweet lime are at their best, and carrots and beetroot are sweet and cheap. This is the season for ABC juice and fresh orange. Guava arrives in December, and we press it with a pinch of chilli salt.
March brings watermelon and the first muskmelon, and by April the mango trucks reach Vizag from Nuzvid and Banganapalle. Mango shake becomes our bestseller until the end of June. Sugarcane is good almost all year, but sweetest in the hot months, which is lucky, because that is when everyone wants it.
During the monsoon, fruit is softer and spoils faster, so we buy smaller amounts twice a day. Pineapple, pomegranate and papaya fill the gap.
When a fruit is out of season, we take it off the board rather than use concentrate. It is the simplest promise we can make.
