Violin, Carnatic set-up
A full-size violin in spruce and maple, set up for Carnatic playing: a flatter bridge, strings tuned Sa-Pa-Sa-Pa, and fine tuners on all four strings so pitch holds through a long concert. Played in by our violinist for a week before it is sent.

Student violin outfit
A full-size student violin with a carbon-fibre bow, rosin, a shoulder rest and a light case. Set up the same way as our concert violins, so a student does not fight the instrument. Smaller sizes (3/4 and 1/2) are available for children on request.
