Pagdandi began in 1994 when Shankar Kadam moved his Kolhapuri bench from Kolhapur to Pune. Today his sons and 12 karigars make every pair by hand, and we still resole shoes we sold twenty years ago.

Trace your foot on paper, measure the longest toe to the heel in centimetres and match it to our chart. If you are between sizes, choose wide fit rather than a bigger size.
Bark-tanned leather can stain light socks or wet feet for the first few wears. Wipe the inside with a damp cloth and let them dry before wearing.
We resize or exchange any unworn pair within 15 days, free. Refunds are given on unworn pairs within 7 days.
Kolhapuri soles from ₹650, leather soles from ₹1,400 and Goodyear-welted resoles from ₹2,200. Allow 7–10 days.

A glued sole cannot be replaced; a stitched one can be replaced many times. That is the whole difference.
