Our workroom

Started by two mothers who were tired of itchy festive clothes.

Reshma and Divya opened Thumbi in 2017 with one sewing machine and a rule: every festive piece gets a cotton lining. Today twelve tailors work in Pulimoodu, and our own children still test every new design.

How do I choose a size?

Go by height, not age. Our size chart lists height ranges; if your child is between sizes, choose the larger one.

Are the sequins and zari safe for babies?

We do not use sequins, beads or loose zari on any baby piece under 24 months. Party frocks are for ages 2 and up.

Can I exchange a size?

Yes, free within 15 days if unworn and with tags. We collect it from your door anywhere in Kerala.

Do you stitch matching sets for siblings?

Yes. Matching sibling sets in kasavu or brocade take 7 days to make and start at ₹2,400 for two.
