How can I tell hand phulkari from machine?
Turn it over. Hand darning shows short, uneven stitches on the back and long floats on the front; machine work looks identical and dense on both sides.
Will the colours run?
The silk floss is dyed in Amritsar and colour-fast in cold water. Wash it alone the first time, by hand, and dry it in the shade.
How long does a made-to-order bagh take?
10 to 14 weeks, depending on size and density. We ask for half when the cloth goes to the village and send photos every fortnight.
Do you ship abroad?
Yes, to the UK, Canada, the US and Australia by insured courier, in about 10 days. Duties are paid by the receiver.
Can I exchange a piece?
Unused pieces with tags can be exchanged within 7 days. Made-to-order baghs cannot be exchanged, but we fix any fault in the work for free.
How do I pay?
UPI, debit and credit cards, net banking and wallets through Razorpay, or cash on delivery on eligible orders.
How do I track my order?
You get a WhatsApp message with the tracking link as soon as your order ships.
Is my data safe?
We use your details only for your order or booking, never sell them, and delete them on request.
