Grandparents, children and a cousin who hates chocolate: how to pick a cake that most of the room will finish.

A birthday cake for a family function in Coimbatore usually has to please three generations at once. Children want chocolate, grandparents prefer something light, and there is always someone who is eggless or avoids alcohol. Here is how we help people choose.
If you can order only one cake, the safest choices are a vanilla sponge with fresh fruit and cream, or our strawberry cream cake. Both are light, not too sweet, and children eat them as happily as adults. Chocolate truffle is the most requested flavour, but it is rich; at a lunch where people have already eaten a full meal, half of it often comes home.
For parties with many children, think about the decoration as much as the flavour. Thick fondant figures are usually picked off and left on the plate. A buttercream cake with sprinkles or fresh fruit is finished more often. When the crowd is large, two smaller cakes of different flavours work better than one big one. A 1 kg strawberry cake and a 1 kg chocolate cake together cost about the same as a 2 kg single-flavour cake and give people a choice. Cut both at the same time so nobody feels left out.
Every cake we make is available eggless at the same price, with its own recipe, so you do not need a separate cake for eggless guests. Tell us about any nut allergy when you order. We do use nuts in our kitchen, so we will tell you honestly which cakes are safest and which to avoid.
