Dabu indigo kurta fabric
Two and a half metres of soft cotton mulmul, printed with a dabu paste of black clay, gum and lime, dusted with sawdust and dipped in our indigo vat three times. The paste is washed off to leave cream leaves on deep blue. Enough for a kurta with full sleeves. Expect slight crackle lines: that is the mud.

Indigo dabu saree
A six-metre cotton saree in a light Chanderi-style weave, printed in dabu with a vine border and a scattered buti body, dyed in indigo and washed twice. Comes with an 80 cm blouse piece. It takes about nine days from the first block to the last rinse. Dry clean or gentle hand wash.
