From the tasting to the last scoop, how our gelato cart works at a wedding, sangeet or office event, and what you need to arrange.

Our gelato cart has served at about 150 events since 2021, from sangeets in Juhu to office Diwali parties in BKC. If you are thinking of booking it, here is what happens.
First, a call with Farah to discuss the guest count, the date and the menu. We bring four flavours for any event. Most hosts choose one fruit, one Indian classic such as kesar pista kulfi or anjeer badam, one chocolate and one sorbet so that vegan guests are covered. For weddings we can add a custom flavour, such as paan or gulkand, if you book at least three weeks ahead.
The cart costs ₹110 a guest for 50 to 200 guests, with a minimum of ₹6,500. That includes the cart, the gelato, cones, cups and spoons, a server in a plain apron, and transport within Mumbai. For guest lists above 200 we bring a second cart and server.
On the day, we arrive 90 minutes before service. The cart needs a flat space about 2 m by 1.5 m, under a roof or shade, and one 15-amp power point for the freezer. Serving runs for up to three hours. Each guest gets two small scoops, and we keep an extra 10 percent in reserve. At the end, the server packs up and removes all waste. Any leftover gelato in sealed tubs stays with you. We ask for 50 percent at booking and the rest a week before the event.
