Who we are
Indian cacao, roasted and ground in Puducherry.
Ravi was a pastry chef in Chennai until he tasted beans from a cacao farm in Idukki and stopped making anything else. Our workshop in White Town roasts about 60 kg of beans a week, and every batch is tasted against the farm’s notes before it is wrapped.
Beans from farms in Idukki and West Godavari, fermented on the farm, then roasted, stone-ground and tempered by hand in our workshop. Saturday tastings in the workshop: roasted beans, nibs, three bars and a bonbon, with the story of each farm. ₹600, 45 minutes.

What we stand for
Three things we will not change
Indian cacao
We buy only from Indian farms we visit, and pay above the market for well-fermented beans.
Short labels
Our dark bars contain cacao and sugar. No vegetable fat, no vanilla essence, no emulsifiers.
Made fresh
Bonbons are made weekly and shipped quickly. We never keep a warehouse of filled chocolate.

Taste six chocolates, from bean to bar.

The Idukki bar tastes of fruit, not just sugar. I did not know Indian chocolate could taste like this.
The bonbon box arrived in Delhi in June, cold and perfect, with ice gel still frozen.
We did the Saturday tasting. Eating the raw nibs and then the finished bar made the whole process click.
New batches, before anyone else.
