An unhurried morning in our part of Hyderabad: a walk under old trees, a late breakfast and a quiet hour at the spa.

Jubilee Hills is best known for its traffic, but on a Sunday morning it can be surprisingly calm. Here is how many of our regular guests spend one before their booking.
Start early at KBR Park. The walking track around the edge is about 6 km and shaded by old trees, and it opens at dawn. The park is a protected forest in the middle of the city, so you will see peacocks, mongooses and plenty of birds if you go before 8 am. Bring water and wear walking shoes; the track is rough in places. Entry costs a small fee and phones stay quiet.
After the walk, Road No. 36 and the lanes off it have several cafés that open by 8.30 for breakfast. If you prefer something simple, there are idli and dosa places near Peddamma temple where breakfast for two is under ₹250. Visit the temple itself if you have time; Sunday mornings are busy but lively.
Then come to us. Our Sunday slots from 11 am fill first, so book a few days ahead. A warm oil champi or the candlelit foot ritual is a good way to finish a long walk. Arrive ten minutes early, have your tea, and leave your phone in the locker. Afterwards, rather than heading straight back into the traffic, sit in our rest room for a while. There is no hurry; the next guest is in another room.
