What to book and when, so your skin is calm on the day and not freshly treated.

The most common mistake we see before a wedding is a strong facial or peel the day before. Skin needs time to settle, and redness or small breakouts after a treatment can take 48 hours to calm.
Six weeks out, book a skin check and a hydrating facial. This tells us how your skin reacts and what it needs. Four weeks out, if your skin suits it, a gentle glycolic peel, with a patch test done a few days earlier. Two weeks out, a second facial with a face sculpt massage.
Two days before the event, book a short glow facial with a sheet mask and no extractions. Nothing new, nothing strong. The day before, sleep early, drink water and leave your skin alone.
At home through those six weeks, keep it simple: a mild cleanser, a moisturiser and sunscreen every morning, even indoors. Do not start a new serum or try a home peel during this time. If you are on any prescribed skin treatment, tell us at the first visit, and follow your doctor’s advice over ours.
