The spa

A 1940s Mysuru house, six rooms and a courtyard of sampige trees.

We restored an old Jayalakshmipuram home with lime plaster, red oxide floors and teak shutters. Our nine therapists trained in Kerala and Bali, and we blend our oils in small batches with a vaidya in Chamarajapuram.

What should I wear?

We give you a robe, slippers and disposable underwear. You undress to your comfort level; you are always covered with a sheet except where the therapist is working.

Can I choose a woman therapist?

Yes. Tell us when you book. We have six women and three men therapists, and we will never change your choice without asking.

Is it safe during pregnancy?

We offer a gentle pregnancy massage after the first trimester, with your doctor’s approval. Hot stone, deep tissue and steam are not offered during pregnancy.

What is your cancellation policy?

Change or cancel free up to 6 hours before your slot. Later cancellations are charged 50 percent; no-shows are charged in full.
