Unpolished foxtail millet (navane) from a farmer producer group near Hiriyur, Chitradurga, de-husked on a small stone huller so the bran stays on. Cleaned three times for stones and grit. Rinse twice and cook 1 cup with 2.5 cups of water for 15 minutes.
