The seven pages that save you a round of samples.

A tech pack is the instruction manual for your garment. The clearer it is, the fewer samples you need, and each round of sampling costs about two weeks.
Start with a flat sketch, front and back, with every seam, pocket and topstitch drawn. Add a measurement chart in centimetres for your base size, with how and where each point is measured. Grade rules for the other sizes can come later, but the base must be complete.
Next, the bill of materials: fabric with composition and GSM, thread colour, buttons, zips, labels and tags, with a code or photo for each. Give us the colourways and Pantone references or physical swatches. Then the details: stitch type, stitches per inch, hem widths, and where the main label and care label go.
Finally, packing: fold size, polybag, carton ratio and shipping marks. Buyers often leave this out, and it causes the most delays at the end. If you do not have a tech pack yet, send us a garment you like and a list of what to change. Our pattern room can build the pack from there, at no charge for confirmed orders.
