Parking, buses, rush hours and where to eat after class: a practical guide for members across Coimbatore.

Our studio sits on Sathy Road in Saravanampatti, which has grown from a quiet suburb into one of the busiest parts of Coimbatore in a decade. Here is how members get here and what to expect at different times of day.
Morning classes at 6 and 7 am are the easiest. Roads are clear, and members from Ganapathy, Gandhipuram and even RS Puram reach us in 20 to 30 minutes. Between 8.30 and 10 am, and again from 5.30 to 7.30 pm, traffic to and from the IT parks slows Sathy Road considerably; leave 15 extra minutes for the 6 pm class.
We have parking for about 15 two-wheelers in front and six cars in the lane behind the building. On weekday evenings the car spaces fill by 6 pm, so many members come by two-wheeler or auto. Town buses on the Gandhipuram to Saravanampatti route stop about a five-minute walk away.
After morning class, the tea stalls and small tiffin centres along the road serve idli, pongal and filter coffee from 6.30 am, and most members have a favourite. Wait 20 to 30 minutes after a vigorous class before a full meal. We keep showers and lockers for members who go straight to work. Bring a lock, a towel if you prefer your own, and your office clothes on a hanger; we have a rail for them.
