Sun, rain and sweat all affect healing. When to book, and what to plan around in this city.

Bengaluru is kinder to new tattoos than most Indian cities. It rarely gets very hot and the air is not too humid for most of the year. But each season still asks for a little planning.
March to May is the warmest stretch. If you are tattooed then, the main thing is sun: keep the new tattoo covered with loose cotton when you are out, and do not plan a weekend at a pool or a trip to Gokarna in the first two weeks. Sweat under tight clothes slows healing, so wear something that does not rub.
June to October brings rain and damp. Clothes take longer to dry, so keep fresh towels for drying the tattoo and change out of damp clothes quickly. Avoid riding pillion through a downpour with a new forearm piece open to the rain. Many people still book in the monsoon because the city is cooler and less dusty, and that works well with a little care.
November to February is our busiest season. The weather is cool and dry, few people are travelling to the beach and long sleeves are easy to wear. If you are planning a large piece over several sessions, this is the easiest time to heal it. Books for these months fill quickly, so we suggest a consultation in September or October.
