Backups, passwords, quotes and timings: how our service bench handles your machine from drop-off to pickup.

Handing over a laptop for repair can feel worrying, because most of us carry our work and photos on it. Here is how our service bench works, so you know what happens and what to prepare. Before you come, back up anything important if the laptop still turns on. Copy files to an external drive or cloud storage. Most repairs do not touch your data, but a failing drive or a fresh install can. If you cannot back up, tell us and we will image the drive first, for ₹499.
At the counter, Farhan or Deepa will note the problem, the serial number and every visible scratch or dent, with photos, on a job card you sign and keep. We ask for your login password only if the repair needs it, and we never open your files or personal folders. You can set up a temporary user account instead if you prefer.
We diagnose first and quote before starting any paid work. A deep clean and service takes 24 hours and costs ₹1,499. Screen, keyboard and battery replacements take one to three days depending on the part. If a part has to be ordered, we tell you the date before you agree.
When it is ready, we call you and send a photo of the test log. At pickup, check that the fault is fixed and that your data is there before you leave. Our repairs carry a 90-day warranty on the work and the parts we fitted. Old parts are returned to you in a bag unless you ask us to recycle them.
