Inner dimensions, in the right order, with the right allowance.

Most box problems start with a measurement. A carton that is 5 mm too small will not close; one that is 2 cm too big lets the product rattle and break.
Always give us inner dimensions, in the order length, width, height. Length is the longer side of the opening, width the shorter side, and height is the depth from the opening to the base. Measure the product at its widest points, including handles, caps and any packaging it already sits in.
Add an allowance. For a rigid product packed alone, 3–5 mm on each side is enough. For products packed with bubble wrap or foam, add the thickness of the padding on every side. For several items packed together, measure the bundle as it will be packed, not each item.
If you are unsure, send us one product. We will measure it, make a sample box and send both back within three working days. It costs less than one lost consignment.
