Sending flowers in Pune for the first time: what to expect
From choosing to the WhatsApp photo and the doorbell, here is how a same-day order works.
Many of our orders come from people who live outside Pune and are sending flowers to parents, friends or colleagues here. If it is your first time ordering from us, this is what happens.
You can choose from the website or simply tell us a budget, the occasion and a few things the person likes. Orders placed before 3 pm are delivered the same day. Pick a two-hour slot at checkout; a fixed time, such as midnight for a birthday, costs ₹350 extra. Add a message for the handwritten card. We write it in blue ink on plain cream card, and we can write in Marathi, Hindi or English.
About an hour before dispatch, we send you a photo of the finished bouquet on WhatsApp. If something is not right, such as more white than you wanted, tell us and we will change it before it leaves. Our delivery riders carry bouquets upright in a crate, and stems are sealed in a water pouch so they arrive fresh even after an hour in traffic to Hinjewadi or Wagholi.
If no one is home, the rider calls you, not the recipient, so a surprise is not spoiled. We can leave flowers with a neighbour or the security desk of a society if you agree. You get a delivery photo once it is handed over. If the flowers are not right, tell us within six hours with a photo, and we replace them.
