Weekly table flowers for an office or reception desk

A vase of fresh flowers on a reception desk is often the first thing a visitor notices. Many offices, clinics and small hotels in Koregaon Park, Kalyani Nagar and Baner have a weekly arrangement from us, changed every Monday morning.

The flowers have to last the week, so we choose differently from a gift bouquet. Chrysanthemums, gerberas, carnations, alstroemeria, cymbidium orchids and fresh foliage such as eucalyptus and monstera leaves all hold for six to eight days in an air-conditioned room. We avoid mogra, tuberose and lilies on reception desks because the scent can be strong in a closed room and the pollen stains.

Every Monday our team arrives before 9.30 am, removes the old flowers, washes the vase, refills it and sets the new arrangement. The old flowers are composted. Midweek we come back for a five-minute check, topping up water and removing any tired stems. A desk arrangement about 45 cm tall costs ₹1,600 a week, or ₹5,800 a month. A larger lobby arrangement starts at ₹3,200 a week.

You can pause the subscription for holidays or office closures with a day’s notice, and change the colours for festivals or company events. We send a photo of each week’s arrangement so the office manager can approve the style. The vase stays with us, so there is nothing to buy at the start.
