Who we are

Cut once. Cut for you.

Our head cutter trained in Daryaganj and Karol Bagh before we opened in 2008. Every pattern is drafted by hand, cut in our workroom and kept on file, so your next suit starts where the last one finished.

Suits, bandhgalas, sherwanis and shirts, drafted from your own paper pattern and fitted three times. A sherwani or bandhgala for a December wedding should be measured by mid-September. The first appointment is an hour and costs nothing.

What we stand for

Three things we will not change

01

Your pattern

We draft a paper pattern for every client and keep it, adjusting it at each fitting and each new order.

02

Fittings, not guesses

A jacket is basted and fitted on you before the canvas is finished, so changes are made in the cloth, not after.

03

A written quote

Cloth, making and extras are listed separately before we cut, and the price stays what we wrote.

Our story so far

Naap & Kaat, year by year

  1. 2008

A cutting table in Shahpur Jat

Our head cutter and two tailors opened a single room above a printer’s shop, making suits for friends of friends.

  2. 2012

    The first bandhgalas and sherwanis

Wedding clients asked for occasion wear. We took on a karigar for hand threadwork and began making sherwanis.

  3. 2018

    A workroom of our own

We moved to the ground floor, with fitting rooms at the front and the workroom behind them, where you can see your jacket being made.

  4. Today

    Nine tailors and 3,200 patterns

Every client’s paper pattern is kept on file. Most of our work now comes from people ordering their second or third piece.

01

Measure

An hour with our cutter: 28 measurements, posture, cloth.

02

Fit

Two or three fittings as the piece is built.

03

Collect

Pressed, bagged and fitted once more on the day.

Reviews

What customers say

Sample reviews, written for this demo. Real customer reviews replace them on your store.

I have a dropped right shoulder and every ready-made jacket showed it. Theirs does not. The cutter noticed it in the first five minutes.

My sherwani was ready ten days before the wedding. They matched the threadwork to a swatch from my wife’s lehenga.
Siddharth K. · New Delhi
The trial shirt felt fussy at first, but every shirt since has fitted. I now order four at a time over WhatsApp.
