Who we are
Toys turned on a lathe, painted with lac, made to be chewed.
Our toys come from family workshops an hour up the road, where ivory wood is turned on the lathe and coloured with lac. We visit every month, pay on delivery and send back what children tell us.
Channapatna dolls, stackers, trains and first ride-ons, chosen by two parents and tested by our own children before they reach the shelf. Bring the children to try any toy before you buy it. Saturdays 10 am to 1 pm at the shop, with juice for small visitors.

What we stand for
Three things we will not change
Safe enough to chew
Lac, beeswax and water-based colours only. We ask every workshop for its colour sources and test new batches.
Made to last
We choose toys that survive siblings and can be repaired. Send back a broken wheel and we will fix it free.
Fair to makers
Workshops set their own price. We pay on delivery, not after the toy sells.

A play corner, open every Saturday morning.
Bring the children to try any toy before you buy it. Saturdays 10 am to 1 pm at the shop, with juice for small visitors.

What customers say

The nesting dolls are the one toy my daughter has not lost interest in. The colours are still bright after a year.
They helped me choose a gift for a one-year-old in two minutes on WhatsApp. It arrived wrapped, with a card.
A wheel came off the train after months of rough play. They fixed it for free and sent it back in two days.
Birthday coming up?
Tell us the child’s age and your budget. We will suggest three toys on WhatsApp.
