Twenty-four years of sending Kolkata families on holiday.

Subrata Ghosh started Pakhi in 2002 from a desk in Gariahat with trips to Puri and Darjeeling. Today a team of 26 plans holidays for about 9,000 travellers a year, and many families have travelled with us for three generations.

What does the package price include?

Hotels, breakfast and usually dinner, the car or ferries listed and sightseeing. Train or flight tickets are included only where the package says so.

How do payments work?

25% to confirm, 50% thirty days before travel and the rest seven days before. We accept UPI, cards and bank transfer.

Do you arrange permits for Sikkim?

Yes. We apply for North Sikkim and Tsomgo Lake permits. Send ID copies and two photos per person 10 days before travel.

Can you plan for older parents or small children?

Yes. We choose hotels with lifts and ground-floor rooms, slower days and shorter drives, and avoid high passes where needed.
