From the first visit to the delivery day, how an order works at our workshop and how long each step takes.

Most of what we make is built to order, and many customers have never ordered furniture this way before. Here is how it works, step by step.
It starts with a visit or a message. Bring the measurements of your room, including doors, windows and anything the piece must fit around, and photos if you can. Tell us how many people will use it, and how. Within three days, we send you a scaled drawing with sizes, a choice of finish and a written price. There is no charge for this, and you can change the drawing as often as you need.
When you approve it, we ask for a 40 percent advance. If you would like to, you can come to the workshop and choose the planks for a tabletop yourself; we mark them with your name. The piece then takes four to six weeks, or up to eight for carved work. We send photos from the workshop along the way: the planks cut, the joints dry-fitted, and the finished piece before it is oiled or lacquered. If something looks wrong to you, this is the time to say so.
On delivery day, our own team brings the piece in a covered truck, carries it into your home, places it and checks that it sits level. Large pieces, like six-seater tables, are delivered with the legs detached and assembled in your home. You pay the balance once you are happy with it. We also leave a small card with care instructions and our workshop number, in case you need us later.
