Your first order with us, from message to doorstep

What happens after you send us a message, how payment works, and when your cake goes into the oven.

If you have never ordered a cake from a home bakery before, the process can feel uncertain. Here is exactly what happens with us, step by step. You send a message on WhatsApp or through the website with the date, the cake you want, the weight, eggless or not, and the message for the top. If you have a photo of a design you like, attach it. Within a few hours during opening hours, Tuesday to Sunday, we reply with a price, a delivery or pickup slot and any questions. For custom designs we send a quick sketch within a day.

Once you agree, we ask for 50 per cent by UPI to confirm, and the rest on delivery or pickup. For cakes under ₹1,000 we ask for full payment upfront. You will get a confirmation message with your order number, the slot and our kitchen address.

Your cake is baked fresh the day before delivery. Sponges need to cool and rest overnight before they are filled and frosted, so a cake baked on the morning of your party would actually be harder to cut. Decoration happens on the delivery day. We send you a photo of the finished cake before it leaves the kitchen, so you can check the spelling of the name.

On delivery, the driver hands over the cake with a small card of storage instructions. If something has gone wrong, a smudged message or a damaged edge, send us a photo within an hour and we will fix it or refund the cake.
