When physiotherapy at home makes sense, when coming to the clinic is better, and how many people move from one to the other.

We offer both clinic sessions on CG Road and home visits across west Ahmedabad, and people often ask which they should choose. It depends mainly on how easily you can travel and what your treatment needs.
Home visits suit people who cannot travel comfortably: the first weeks after knee, hip or spine surgery, older patients who find stairs and autos difficult, and people recovering from a long hospital stay. Treating someone at home also lets us see the real obstacles, such as the height of the bed, the bathroom step and the stairs, and practise around them. A home visit costs ₹300 more for travel.
The clinic suits most other problems. Our 1,800 sq ft gym floor has a treadmill, exercise bikes, cable machines, free weights, balance boards and a running track marked on the floor. Sports injuries, ACL rehab and strength work need this equipment as they progress. The clinic is also quicker to book, with slots from 7 am for people going to work.
Many patients do both: home visits for the first two to four weeks after surgery, then clinic sessions once they can travel. We plan the change together, often when you can walk safely with a stick and manage a few steps. The same physiotherapist usually continues with you, so nothing is lost in the handover.
