The workshop
Architect Kavya Shah started Shila Studio in 2016 with two carpenters. Today 18 people work in our Naroda shed: joiners, a brass spinner, a leather stitcher and a gilder. Every piece is drawn first at full size.

Our electrician installs pendants and lamps free in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. Elsewhere we send a fitting guide and talk your electrician through it.
Most take an E27 or E14 warm LED, 2700 K. We include one bulb with every lamp and list the type on the product page.
