Day cruise with lunch
Six hours on the lake without staying the night. Leave the jetty at 11 am, cruise south through Kainakary and the paddy polders below sea level, with a Kerala lunch and evening tea on board. Price is for the boat, up to eight guests; we use a two-bedroom boat for the day.

Sunset cruise
Two hours on a small shikara-style boat across Punnamada lake as the light goes, with tea, pazham pori and banana chips. Up to six guests per boat. Leaves the jetty at 4.30 pm and is back by 6.30, so you have time for dinner in town.
