Three hamper ideas at three prices, what goes in each, and how much time to allow before a wedding or housewarming.

Many of our hamper orders come for weddings, housewarmings and seemanthams in Coimbatore and beyond. Families want something handmade that guests will use, not leave in a cupboard. Our hampers start at ₹450 a guest for 30 guests or more.
At ₹450, a hamper usually holds two small things in a cloth pouch: a pair of hand-thrown terracotta agal diyas from Manamadurai and a small palm leaf box, or a hammered copper tumbler in place of the box when the order is larger. Each piece carries a tag with the maker’s name and village, and the pouch is closed with a cotton string.
At around ₹850, we add a brass kumkum cup from Nachiarkoil and pack everything in a palm leaf tray with a lid. At about ₹1,500, the hamper holds a copper tumbler pair, a small brass lamp and a kora grass coaster set in a woven basket that can be reused. Prices include packing in cloth, cotton and paper only, with no plastic, and a printed card with the story of the makers. Delivery within Coimbatore is free; elsewhere we add courier charges.
Allow at least two weeks from confirming the order. Handmade pieces are made or gathered from several villages, and terracotta in particular needs dry weather to fire well. For more than 150 guests, or in the wedding months of Thai and Aavani, give us three to four weeks. We send three hamper ideas with photos within two days of your message, and you can mix items between them.
