From your call to the engineer at the pump: how our 48-hour service works, and what to have ready when they arrive.
Our service standard is an engineer visit within 48 hours across our dealer network in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka. Customers who have never needed it sometimes ask how it works in practice. Here is the sequence.
You call your dealer or our service number, or send a message with the pump’s model and serial number, which are on the nameplate and on the test sheet that came with it. Describe the problem as clearly as you can: does the pump not start, start and trip, run without delivering water, or make an unusual noise? A short video of the pump running, or the panel when it trips, helps the engineer bring the right parts.
Within a working day, our service desk confirms a visit time. The nearest engineer, usually based with a dealer, travels to the site with a toolkit, a clamp meter, a megger and common spares such as capacitors, seals and bearings. On arrival, they check the supply voltage and the panel first, because many problems lie there, then the pump itself.
If the fault can be fixed on site, it usually is the same day. If the pump needs a rewind or major repair, it goes to the dealer’s workshop or to our plant, and the engineer tells you the expected time and, outside warranty, the cost before work begins. Warranty repairs cover manufacturing defects for two years; damage from voltage, dry running or sand is quoted separately. Have the installation details, purchase bill and test sheet ready when the engineer arrives; it saves time for both of you.
