Who we are
Tea tasted on Park Street, from gardens we know by name.
Our grandfather was a tea taster at the Kolkata auctions for thirty years before he opened a shop on Park Street in 1972. We still taste every lot the way he did, side by side in white cups, and buy only the ones that make us go back for a second sip.
Darjeeling, Assam and Nilgiri teas, cupped in our Kolkata tea room and bought lot by lot from the gardens, with the garden and flush on every pack. Taste six teas side by side with our taster, from first flush to Assam, and learn to brew each one. ₹500, 45 minutes, Sundays at 11.

What we stand for
Three things we will not change
Tasted, not chosen by label
Every lot is cupped against others before we buy. Most are turned down.
Named gardens
Each pack names the region, the garden’s district and the flush, so you know what you are drinking.
Fresh stock
We pack every week and keep only what we can sell within a season.

Reviews
What customers say
Sample reviews, written for this demo. Real customer reviews replace them on your store.
The first flush tasted like the hills. I had never had Darjeeling this fresh in Mumbai.
The Sunday tasting changed how I make tea at home. No more boiling green tea.
The masala chai is the one I buy for the office. Strong, not too sweet, and the spices are real.
New lots, the day they land.
A short note when each flush arrives from the gardens. Four a year.
