Our fees, explained line by line

What the monthly fee, the admission fee and daycare pay for, what is extra, and how to plan for a year at Little Banyan.

Preschool fees in Vizag vary widely, and it is often hard to tell what is included. Here is exactly what parents pay at Little Banyan for the year beginning June 2027, and what that money covers.

The one-time admission fee is ₹10,000. It is paid once, when a child joins, not every year. It covers the child’s file, a set of picture books and art supplies for the year, two school T-shirts and a bag. Monthly fees depend on the programme: ₹5,500 for playgroup, ₹6,200 for nursery, ₹6,800 for LKG and ₹7,200 for UKG. These cover teaching, a morning snack, all classroom materials and the garden activities. Fees are paid by the 5th of each month, or termly with a small saving.

Daycare until 6.30 pm is ₹4,500 a month on top of the programme fee. It includes a cooked vegetarian lunch, an afternoon snack and supervised nap time. The Saturday art and story club is ₹1,800 a month and is optional. The only other costs are the annual day costume, usually around ₹500, and an optional picnic in the winter term.

So a nursery child attending the morning only costs about ₹84,400 in the first year, including the admission fee, and ₹74,400 in later years. With daycare, it is about ₹1,38,400 in the first year. Most of the fee goes on salaries: we keep two adults with every group of 15, and that is the part we will not cut. If a family is in difficulty, please talk to Sravanthi; we try to find a way.
