Who we are
A garden, a sandpit and teachers who know every child.
Sravanthi taught Class 1 for twelve years before opening Little Banyan in 2016. The house has six bright rooms, a shaded garden, a sandpit and a vegetable patch the children water every morning.
Playgroup to UKG, and daycare until 6.30 pm, in small groups of 15 with two teachers. Learning through play, stories, songs and the outdoors. Visits are on weekdays from 10 to 11.30 am, while classes are running. Bring your child; they are welcome to join in.

What we stand for
Three things we will not change
Play first
Children learn letters and numbers through sand, songs, blocks and stories before they meet a worksheet.
Outdoors every day
Every group spends at least an hour in the garden, except on the wettest monsoon days.
Parents in the loop
A daily photo update, monthly notes and an open door for a chat at pickup.

What customers say

My son cried for two days and then ran in on the third. The settling-in week made all the difference.
The daily photos and the monthly notes tell me more than I ever got from my older child’s school.
My daughter came home and taught us how to plant tomatoes. She checks them every morning.
