Moving cartons across Gujarat: routes, trucks and timing

We deliver free within 40 km of Vatva and send our own trucks across Gujarat. Here is how deliveries usually work, and what our customers plan around.

Within Ahmedabad, most deliveries go to the industrial estates at Naroda, Odhav, Changodar and Sanand, and to the warehouses along the Sarkhej–Bavla road. A full truck carries about 8,000 to 12,000 flat boxes, depending on size. Trucks leave Vatva at 7 am to avoid city restrictions on heavy vehicles during the day. For deliveries inside the old city, we use a smaller tempo.

For the rest of Gujarat, our trucks run regular routes to Vadodara and Bharuch on Tuesdays and Fridays, and to Rajkot and Morbi on Wednesdays, where ceramic manufacturers need heavy 7-ply cartons. Surat and Vapi deliveries go two or three times a week in the season. Most customers outside Ahmedabad receive orders within a day of dispatch.

Export cartons often go straight to container freight stations or to Mundra port. For these, we coordinate with your forwarder, deliver on pallets wrapped in stretch film and include the test readings with each consignment. For other states, we send boxes by transport companies at cost, usually two to five days to Mumbai, Pune or Delhi. Flat cartons travel well, but they must be covered in transit; we wrap every bundle and ask transporters to load under a tarpaulin.
