March to May brings dry heat, strong sun and dust. What we suggest changing in your routine for those months.

Coimbatore’s summer is milder than much of Tamil Nadu’s, but from March to May afternoons reach 36 to 38 °C, the sun is strong and the air is dry and dusty. Skin that felt fine in January can feel tight, dull or oily by April. A few changes make the season more comfortable.
Cleanse gently, twice a day. Dust and sweat build up on the skin during a commute, but scrubbing hard or washing many times a day strips the skin and can leave it feeling tighter. A mild soap or cleanser in the morning and evening, with a splash of plain water at midday, is usually enough. Our turmeric soap is cold processed and suits most skin types, though people with very dry skin may prefer a cream cleanser.
Switch to lighter layers. Many people move from a cream to a gel, such as our aloe and cucumber gel, in the daytime, and keep their oil for night only. Sunscreen is the step not to skip; apply it 15 minutes before going out and again after a few hours outdoors. We do not make sunscreen ourselves, so choose one you like to wear every day.
Drink water through the day, keep a cotton scarf or umbrella for the walk between bus stop and office, and avoid starting new products in the hottest weeks, when skin is often more reactive. If you do try something new, patch test it first, as always.
