Consultation, wash, mask, steam and a blow-dry. A step-by-step guide to our hair spa, priced at ₹1,800.

A hair spa is one of our most booked services outside the wedding season, and many clients come for their first one without knowing quite what it involves. Here is how the 75 minutes go.
We start with five minutes of conversation and a look at your hair and scalp. We ask how often you wash it, whether you colour or straighten it, and what bothers you most: dryness, frizz, an oily scalp or tangles. Based on that, your stylist chooses one of three masks, for dry, damaged or oily hair, and shows you the jar before opening it.
Your hair is washed with a gentle shampoo, and the mask is worked through the lengths. You then get a ten-minute head, neck and shoulder massage while it sits, followed by gentle steam for ten to twelve minutes to warm the hair and help the mask spread evenly. Many clients fall asleep at this point. The mask is rinsed with lukewarm water, and a light leave-in product is applied to the ends.
The last twenty minutes are a blow-dry and style, straight or with soft waves, so you leave with finished hair. The service costs ₹1,800. For dry or treated hair, we usually suggest a hair spa once a month; for most other hair, every six to eight weeks is plenty. Avoid washing your hair for a day afterwards, and if you plan to colour it, book the colour first and the spa a week later.
