What to start, what to stop and what to leave alone before the wedding.

The most common thing brides ask us is what to do for their skin before the wedding. Our advice is to start early, keep it simple, and avoid trying anything new in the last month.
Twelve weeks before, settle into a gentle routine: a mild cleanser, a moisturiser that suits your skin, and sunscreen every day. Drink water, sleep properly, and if you have any skin concerns, see a dermatologist now rather than later. Treatments that need time to settle should be done in this window.
Eight weeks before, book a few clean-up facials, spaced three weeks apart. These are mild treatments, not peels. Start your hair care too: oiling, a trim and, if needed, a couple of hair spas.
Four weeks before, stop experimenting. No new products, no bleach, no first-time threading or waxing on the face. Your trial with us should happen around now, so we can see how your skin takes makeup. In the last week, keep everything calm. A final light facial five days before, waxing three days before, and threading two days before. The night before, wash your face, moisturise and go to bed early. Good sleep shows on the skin more than any product.
