Pets are welcome inside. What to expect on a first visit, how a harness fitting works and how to keep it calm.

Pets are welcome in our Panampilly Nagar store every day from 10 am to 9 pm, and many customers bring their dog for a harness fitting or simply to choose a toy. If it is your dog’s first visit, here is what to expect.
Come at a quiet time. Weekday mornings between 10 am and noon are calmest. Saturday evenings are busy, with other dogs and more noise, which some dogs find exciting and others find stressful. Walk your dog for ten minutes before coming in, so they have stretched their legs and relieved themselves.
Keep your dog on a short leash inside. Aisles are narrow, and other customers may be holding a cat carrier or a puppy. Our staff keep a bowl of fresh water by the door and a jar of small treats on the counter; ask before giving one, in case your dog has a sensitive stomach.
For a harness fitting, one of us measures your dog’s chest and neck with a soft tape, then tries two or three harnesses in that size. We check that two fingers fit under each strap, that the straps do not sit in the armpits and that the dog can walk freely. A fitting takes about fifteen minutes and is free, whether or not you buy. If your dog is anxious, we can do the fitting near the door, or in the car park outside.
