Who we are

Hoovadi began when Manjunath turned his family’s ragi field into a nursery. Today eleven gardeners raise most of our plants from cuttings and seed, and pot every order by hand at the Sarjapur Road shop the morning it is delivered.
Indoor plants, succulents and terracotta, raised in our own nursery and delivered potted, watered and with a care card for your light. Our gardener visits, checks your light, and suggests plants and pots that will thrive there. ₹499, adjusted against your order.

What we stand for
Three things we will not change
Grown, not just sold
Most of our plants are raised from cuttings in our own nursery, so they are used to Bengaluru weather before they reach you.
Right plant, right place
We ask about your light before we sell you a plant. A healthy snake plant beats a struggling fig.
Peat-free mix
Our potting mix uses cocopeat and compost, never peat, and our pots are local terracotta.
