Planning a para show by budget

What ₹5,000, ₹15,000 and ₹40,000 buy for a club or housing society.

Every year para clubs ask us the same question: how much do we need? The honest answer depends on the ground and the time you have, but here is how we usually plan it.

With ₹5,000 you can run about 15 minutes: a 60-shot multicolour as the centre, two 12-shot cakes to open, and tubri and chorki for the children on the ground before the sky shots start.

With ₹15,000 the show can run 30 minutes with a proper finale: two 30-shot green palms, two 60-shots and one 120-shot at the end, plus ground items for the children.

For ₹40,000, which is what larger Kali Pujo committees spend, we plan a 45-minute sequence in three acts, packed in firing order with a printed list. Tell us the size of the ground and how far the nearest buildings are. We will not suggest sky shots for a ground that is too small for them.
