An hour with a technician, a tape measure and a notebook. What we look at, what we ask you and what you receive afterwards.

Every installation we do starts with a free site survey. Customers sometimes expect a salesperson with a brochure. What arrives is one of our senior technicians, usually Imran or Deepak, with a tape measure, a torch, a ladder and a notebook. Here is how the hour goes.
First, a conversation. What are you worried about: someone climbing over the back wall, staff at a cash counter, deliveries left at the gate, an elderly parent alone at home. The answer decides where cameras go far more than the size of the house.
Then we walk the property, inside and out, at the times you tell us matter. We check every entrance, the lighting at night, where the sun falls in the morning and afternoon, and where the street lights are. We look for a safe, ventilated spot for the recorder, a power point near it, and how cables can run without breaking walls. If you have Wi-Fi, we check its strength at the camera positions. For shops, we look at the counter, stock room and shutter from the angle of a camera.
Within two working days you receive a drawing of the property marked with each camera position and its view, the cable routes, a list of equipment and a fixed price. You can change anything before you approve it. There is no charge for the survey and no obligation to go ahead.
