A clear breakdown of a typical clubhouse party for 25 children, and where the money goes.

Parents often ask why a party costs what it does. Here is what goes into a typical ₹25,000 party for 25 children aged five to eight in a society clubhouse in Nagpur, with our backyard or clubhouse package and one theme.
About ₹7,000 goes on décor: the backdrop, a balloon arch of around 400 balloons, the cake table set-up, table cloths and themed tableware. The backdrops are reused, which keeps this lower than buying new, but balloons, helium and paper goods are used once.
Around ₹8,000 is people. A planner, two hosts and a helper are at the venue for about six hours, including set-up and pack-away. Games need two hosts with this many children: one leads, one watches the edges.
Transport, the sound system and the van’s petrol add about ₹2,500. Return-gift bags for 25 children cost around ₹3,500, depending on what goes in them. The remaining ₹4,000 covers the hours before the party: the planning calls, the godown packing the night before, and a reserve for the extra balloons and tape that every party needs.
The cake, food and venue rent are separate. Where you can save is simple: fewer guests, a weekday, a home or terrace instead of a hall, or one strong backdrop rather than a full room. Tell us your budget on the first call and we will plan to it.
