Who we are
Learn the adavus properly, then learn to move freely.
Our founder, Revathi, trained for 14 years before her first student. She teaches with two senior dancers in a first-floor studio off 11th Main, Jayanagar, with a sprung floor that is kind to knees.
Traditional Bharatanatyam for ages five and up, and contemporary classes for adults, in a sprung-floor studio in Jayanagar. Students who complete their first year receive their salangai at a small ceremony. Families are welcome; tea and sundal after.

What we stand for
Three things we will not change
Foundation first
We spend the first year on adavus and posture, because every good margam rests on them.
Bodies that last
Warm-ups, a sprung floor and no forced turnout. We would rather a student dance at sixty than peak at sixteen.
Honest timelines
We will tell you if an arangetram date is too soon, and we never charge for a stage that is not ready.

Ghungroo pooja for the new batch on 18 January.

What customers say
Sample reviews, written for this demo. Real customer reviews replace them on your store.
My daughter was shy in her first month. Two years on she walked onto the stage at the March recital without looking back for me.
I started at 41 in the adult batch. The teachers never hurried me, and my knees are better than when I joined.
The contemporary class is the best part of my week. Hard work, but every class ends with something you can actually dance.
