Our godown stays open until the end of November. What families order for Karthigai, temple festivals and wedding season.
Deepavali is our busiest fortnight, but it is not the end of the season. We keep dispatching until the last week of November, and the orders in those weeks look quite different.
Karthigai Deepam falls in late November or early December, and in Tamil homes it is a festival of lamps first. Most families want something quiet to go with the agal vilakkus on the doorstep: gold sparklers, a few flower pots and ground chakkars for the children. A typical Karthigai order is ₹3,000 to ₹4,000, the smallest we send. Order by the second week of November, because transport offices slow down near the festival.
Temple festivals and village utsavams ask for the opposite: sky shots and long garlands for a procession or the close of a festival night. Committees usually send one combined order, and we pack it as several cartons with one estimate. Share the date, the ground size and the number of people, and we will suggest items that suit an open ground.
Wedding orders start in November and continue into the Thai month. Most families want a short burst when the groom arrives or after the reception, often a 60-shot multicolour and two garlands, around ₹4,000 in all. Since crackers keep for a year in a dry room, a February wedding can be ordered in November, when stock is wide and freight is quick. Tell us the venue’s rules first; many halls in cities allow only flower pots and sparklers outside the gate.
